What is Renewable Energy?
Renewable energy is energy that comes from natural resources; such as geothermal heat, the sun, wind, & tides. Unlike nonrenewable energy, renewable energy can be restored, & will never run out.
People should find ways to use renewable energy in their life because it it healthier for the enviroment & this energy source will never run out. Nonrenewable energy sources (coal & oil) will eventually deminish. Oil prices will go down as well if we use alternative sources. Renewable energy will also cut down the amount of carbon dioxide in the air & this will decrease greenhouse gases in our atmosphere.

Fitzgerald High School can do the following to incorportate renewable energies at our school:
- Use energy efficent light bulbs.
- Install solar panels to power the school.
- Use wind energy for heating & cooling the school.
- Solar energy could be used to power lights.
- Reduce the use of fossil fuels.
